Retirement Life at the Lakehouse

I retired June 2009 and I have spent much more time at The Lakehouse. I have enjoyed each and every day and have not had a bored moment. I stay so busy doing things I want to do that I rarely find myself idle. I guess with the major remodeling complete there has not been as much to post. This is a new phase of life at The Lakehouse and maybe I can post retirement memories.

2001 HIGHLIGHTS

It seems 2001 was a short year at THE LAKEHOUSE. We made a trip to 6 Flags over Georgia and that took away from our time here. The Keesee Reunion took us to Oklahoma so some of our time was used there. I think we had less work going on here.

Wiener roast and marshmallow are always a treat at THE LAKEHOUSE.

This is a really cool pic of Tanner. We enjoy the high water level and the kids love the low water level when they can jump off the pier.

Everyone is waiting to see the catch. Whats it gonna be?

Brooke and Emily take time out to smile.

More fish but this time its catching not just feeding.

Brooke and her big catch.

Another turtle to name for the team.

Tanner helping Papaw drive the pontoon.

Brooke and Tanner found a new way to fish.

OOOOPS!!! I dropped my fish. Quick before Papa sees me. I cheated I got this one from the fish holder with the dip net.

What is these guys are up to?

Nice water level, we have our own kiddie pool. No ski belts required.
