HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!! After work on Monday I went home to find Tanner, Tyler and Brooke there and I had to go get my drivers license renewed so I stopped to get Pizza for supper and a ice cream cake for me and we had me a birthday party. Kyle and Blake were at their Mom's but I saved them a piece of bday cake. I had calls from many folks through out the day. It was a good day.... actually has been a good week. I was tireder than usual seemed but I guess thats just tghe training stuff..... I finished up testing on Friday and passed everything.....MY LAST ANNUAL TEST!!!!!!! I got my little bonus check and I think I will just donate it to the lakehouse fund, lol.
We left for the lake on friday soon as I got home. The weather was bad until Tuscaloosa...we could not get ahead of it or behind it... we tried both....We stopped in Meridian to eat and waste some time... but still in the storm... lots of sky lights and heavy rain. We saw 3 wrecks...I just let Pat drive as I knew he was a safer driver than me with the conditions.
We got to the lake and found we had bathrooms.... what a treat. They seem to work fine and I like the shower....I may just go with the same shower in my bath instead of a built in one. We were too pooped to care about much. I got up early on Saturday and went to do shopping and get a shower rod and curtain... the glass shower door has not been installed yet and I did not want to waste a day of multi bath pleasures. I actually worked my tail off on Saturday....but got the sheetrock dust in the den area cleaned up and floors cleaned and also had the furniture delivered that I had bought. I am really gonna enjoy the new love seat as well as my old recliner in front of the windows.
The bathrooms have not been painted yet and still just plywood on the floor....but we are getting there.
We did take time for a pontoon ride this afternoon and there were many folks out on the lake.....the boys spent some time just riding thet jet ski and no tubing. Tomorrow starts a new week and we have several things planned and look forward to visiting with all we can and hate we will miss some.
