I don't know if any of you are following the links to other blogs that I have been including lately, but if not, you should. This one is really getting to be a favorite of mine, maybe its because I am on a diet, but this southern girl knows good food and this site seems to have all the details on southern food cooking that I can never explain to anyone. So do check out Southern Plate. Why is it than when you go on a diet you start looking at recipe sites and recipe books.
This is Saturday morning and I am in Bama yesterday was a great day and I got lots accomplished running errands mostly. Tyler is a great shopper when he goes with me, He is absolutely no trouble at all, he never rushes me, he never complains , he never ask for anything at all and does not even mind if I am shopping for girl stuff. He just stays in the van and sleeps, lol. I figured out after stopping at the drug store to mail a package, the health department for my birth certificate, the home depot for tomato plants, Penny's for pantyhose and Blake a shirt that he really only wanted to go in at where ever I bought some groceries. So at walmart we bought what he wanted which was ummmm chocolate doughnuts, buddy bars, star crunch, sugar pops. That boy knows what is good, lol. I figured it would make it tough for me so I bought me oranges and lite popcorn and salad stuff. Chloe joined us in the evening and she and Tyler just been hanging out, watching movies and playing on computer.
Today is a gorgeous day and I took a few minutes to take some pictures of the place. It is really beginning to look great. I can tell Pat has worked hard and gotten a lot of stuff cleaned up. He still has lots to do, but will take a week break after next week and be at Mississippi home for Easter and to go to Texas the next weekend to the wedding. I just could not wait to see the front entry and I know it is going to look even better.
Notice the deck is finished and the steps completed but we do need the lattice to complete this. 
This is the garage entry to the house. You can now come in the house from any entry without climbing, tripping, jumping or fearing danger at all. Well I guess the storm shelter entry is not complete yet , they will build the steps going into the basement area this next week.
